A big congratulations to all of our Respectful Exploring Creators for their hard work and dedication to making this semester's Exhibition Night a quality experience. It was so wonderful seeing our first grade friends being ready to greet guests and give them detailed tours. I heard many compliments and appreciations about their hard work and I most certainly agree! This night was a culmination of many weeks of research, writing, drawing, discussing, comprehension, and curiosity. I hope you all enjoyed your tours and visiting other classrooms as well! here are just a FEW pictures from this special night. Something I Know About Religion Is...
This wall contained our very first documentations of what our understandings were of religion and the world around us. Many of our friends had a connection to their family's or other's faiths, and some had less exposure to the concept of religion, which was a great way to see where our launching point would be for our exploration of the practices different people from around the world partake in.
How Do These Religions Compare and Contrast?
By using a five circle Venn Diagram, the class discussed which traits multiple religions had and which were unique to their own. These ideas were based on the research that we conducted in class, but we understand that there is so much more to learn about each religion and that there are way more than just five religions in the world!
